Special Education

Bound Brook School District’s Department of Special Services supports children from the ages of 3 through 21 with special needs. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are a foundational element of our mission statement, and maximizing the academic, physical, mental, and social wellbeing of every student is important to us. By working to identify and empower eligible students, the department ensures that our mission continues as an integral part of what we do.

Identifying Children in Need of Special Education

Bound Brook School District seeks to identify children residing in the Bound Brook who may be in need of special education and are currently unserved. Focusing on students ages 3 through 21, in coordination with Project Child Find, the goal is to ensure that no child is missed, regardless of age or grade.

Additional Information on Child Find can be found here, on the New Jersey Department of Education’s website, or by contacting the Department of Special Services at (732) 652-7980.
