Dear Bound Brook Crusader Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! As we prepare to welcome our students back, I am filled with excitement and optimism about the year ahead. A new school year brings a fresh start, new opportunities, and so much to look forward to.

Throughout the summer, our staff and leadership team have worked hard to prepare our schools. We want every student to walk through our doors feeling welcomed, supported, challenged, and ready to succeed. We look forward to welcoming our students back and seeing the energy, curiosity, and joy they bring to our schools each day.

We begin this year with strong momentum. Over the past several years, we have worked deliberately to strengthen teaching and learning, broaden opportunities for students, and build stronger systems of support. This past year, we saw some of our strongest student achievement results in years. We also expanded programs and continued to strengthen our partnerships with families. We are proud of how far we have come, but we also know there is more work to do.

At the heart of our work is a simple belief: every student deserves an excellent education, meaningful opportunities, high expectations, and adults who believe in their potential. Every child who enters our schools should know that they matter, that they belong, and that we are committed to helping them succeed.

This year, we will continue to focus on student achievement, attendance, belonging, and opportunity while maintaining safe and supportive schools. Our teachers, administrators, and staff are committed to creating classrooms where students are engaged, challenged to think deeply, encouraged to participate, and supported in meeting high expectations.

Strong schools depend on strong partnerships with families. Your involvement, communication, and support make difference. We want you to feel informed, connected, welcomed, and valued as partners in your child's education.

We are proud of the progress we have made and remain committed to building on it. Our focus is clear: to keep getting better and to ensure that every student has the opportunities, support, and encouragement they need to thrive.
