Why are legal notices posted here? Effective March 1, 2026, the Bound Brook Public Schools have transitioned from publishing legal notices in traditional print newspapers to this dedicated online platform. This change follows the enactment of L. 2025, c.72, signed by Governor Phil Murphy, which modernizes public notification by utilizing digital platforms to increase accessibility and transparency for our community.

At the regular meeting of the Bound Brook Board of Education held on December 17, 2025, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the following schedule of evening dates for the Board of Education meetings was approved. All meetings are held at 6:30pm in the Bound Brook High School Theater, located at 111 W. Union Avenue, Bound Brook, NJ 08805, unless otherwise designated.

RFP CC 02-26 – Professional Development (Literacy Grades 2–6)The Bound Brook Board of Education hereby provides notice that, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-4.1 et seq., the Board has awarded a contract through the competitive contracting process for Professional Development (Literacy Grades 2–6) services as follows:
Awarded Vendor: Literacy Strategies Consulting LLC
Contract Amount: $70,200.00
Contract Period: September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2027
Potential Extension: Subject to applicable law and the terms of the RFP.The Purchasing Committee evaluated the proposals and prepared a comprehensive report in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-4.5(d) and N.J.A.C. 5:34-4.1 et seq. The report was made available to the public at least 48 hours prior to the Board's award decision.
The contract award is subject to the terms and conditions of RFP CC 02-26 and the awarded vendor's proposal, including submission of the required documentation.

Notice is hereby given that the Bound Brook Board of Education is soliciting competitive contracting proposals in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-4.1 et seq. for the following services:
Proposal No. CC 01-26 — High Impact Tutoring Services
Proposal Due Date: Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time.
Update on High Impact Tutoring Bid (Proposal No. CC 01-26): Based on its comprehensive review of all proposals received and consideration of proposed pricing, service delivery methods, and the potential feasibility of providing the services in-house, the Evaluation Committee recommends that all proposals be rejected. The committee determined that further evaluation of an in-house alternative is warranted to assess the district’s internal capabilities, potential costs, and most effective use of resources before committing to a contracted service arrangement. The committee therefore recommends that the Board of Education reject all proposals as being in the best interest of the district, in accordance with applicable statutory requirements.

Proposal Due Date: Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. prevailing time.
