Help is available to complete your 2025-2026 Free and Reduced Lunch applications!

Assistance Sessions

Our staff will be available to help you complete your Free and Reduced Lunch application at Lafayette Elementary School (cafeteria) from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, August 26, 2025
  • Thursday, August 28, 2025
  • Wednesday, September 3, 2025

No appointment necessary - stop by on any of these dates that work for your schedule.

Who May Qualify

Your children may be eligible for free or reduced-price meals and Summer EBT benefits if your family:

  • Receives benefits from NJ SNAP or NJ TANF/WorkFirst-NJ
  • Has foster children under legal responsibility of a foster care agency or court
  • Has children participating in Head Start programs
  • Has children who meet the definition of homeless, runaway, or migrant
  • Has a household income that falls at or below federal eligibility guidelines

Before You Come

  • Review the income eligibility guidelines (available in the attached documents)
  • Gather information about your household size and income
  • Bring any relevant documentation if available

Current Meal Prices

  • Elementary, Middle & High School Lunch: $3.95 (full price) / $0.00 (reduced price)
  • Breakfast and After School Snacks: Free for all students

Remember: Even if your child received free or reduced meals last year, you must submit a new application for the 2025-2026 school year.
